...still in progress (sigh)

Hi there, for anyone who may be still checking the site out for any update on issue 20, sorry to say that it's still work in progress. Rebuilding the site is taking longer than expected but it will happen, I just don't know when.

I'm converting previous issues to pdfs so that its easier for everyone to download and view on whatever they maybe using and updating artwork where the images aren't at their best for viewing.

So, for all those still here reading this and supporting the site (the 'footfall' to the site is still pretty good despite the lack of updates) thank you, it does mean a lot and gives me hope for the future of the site.

Welcome to 'Inferno Fiction'

Thanks for viewing this blog site which hopes to keep you up to date with the progress of 'inferno-fiction.co.uk'

I have always loved the fiction fanzine since i can remember and have quite a collection of 'zines from over the years. I was always keen on producing my own fanzine back in the 80's and after a shakey start settled on the format that you can see here on this blog - A5 and illustrated throughout its pages, 'Inferno Fiction' only lasted four issues - it was mainly finding the time to produce it and then, with the world wide web in full swing, people were looking there for their entertainment.

Over the years, many have contributed some excellant Doctor Who fiction and I have never tired from reading it, so I thought it was about time that I'd get myself used to this world wide web and get 'Inferno Fiction' out there to the masses for others to enjoy!

I had initially intended to have the site up and running in 2006 but again, like the printed form, it was finding the time to get everything on line. 2007 came, I married my partner during the summer months and then as I was nearing completion of the site, I lost everything! All the hours that I had managed to put into producing the site were lost as my pc decided that enough was enough and closed down on me for good. I had'nt even backed up all my files, so it was back to the drawing board to start the whole proceedure again.

Now, I am pleased to say that the site is finally up and running and already enjoying a regular number of visitors. All of the original issues, with their content have now been completed with issues five and six which never saw print.
